About
Why BuildMath exists
BuildMath turns jobsite formulas into transparent browser tools. Each calculator shows the formula, serves a complete default result in HTML, draws a scaled planning diagram, and prints a result sheet. Source-linked code notes identify where a simple calculation ends and current local rules, product data, or professional design must take over.
One website name, one app name
The website, publishing identity, and iOS app all use the BuildMath brand so users and search engines see one consistent product identity.
What we publish
BuildMath publishes construction-specific tools rather than general arithmetic pages. The current library covers stairs, roof geometry, rafters, framing, lumber, spans, fasteners, and quantity takeoffs.
What we do not claim
A calculator cannot see concealed conditions, material defects, local amendments, load paths, connections, or workmanship. Structural and life-safety outputs remain planning aids, with primary sources and professional verification called out where required.
